ECG Resolves *226# Payment Platform Hitches
The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) says the technical challenges that occurred on the short code payment system have been resolved.
It notes that customers can resume using the platform for bill payments, purchase prepaid credit and check outstanding balances.
In a notice, it said, “The Electricity Company of Ghana wishes to inform our cherished customers and the general public that the technical challenge with the shortcode *226# has been resolved.”
It added that customers with smartphones can download the ECG PowerApp on Google Playstore or AppStore to pay their bills and access other ECG services.
“The Electricity Company of Ghana expresses our sincerest gratitude to our cherished customers and the general public for their patience and cooperation throughout the challenging period.”
