Board Members Of Social Security and National Insurance Trust ( SSNIT) Pay Courtesy Call On Asantehene

The Board Chairman of Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), Dr. Kwame Addo Kuffuor and other workers of the distinguished state institution has paid a courtesy call on Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.

The visit on Friday, November 27, 2020, afforded Chairman and his delegation to express their heartfelt gratitude to the highly regarded monarch of the Asante Kingdom following his unique support for the Social insurance company and briefed the Great King about their sublime success they have chalked ever since they were sworn in as Board Members to steer the affairs of SSNIT.

Dr. Kwame Addo Kufuor, Board Chairman and former Interior Minister under the Kufuor administration informed the occupant of the Golden Stool that through their altruistic, dedication, devotion and discipline SSNIT has resuscitated to be among one of the state owned institutions being managed well.

He reckoned that under his watch, the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) had emerged as the Outstanding Ghanaian Owned Corporate Organisation of the year 2019 at the 7th virtual Made in Ghana Awards (MIGA) while he was also adjudged the Outstanding Board Chairman of the year 2019 at the 10th Ghana Entrepreneur and Corporate Executive Awards.

Asantehene, who was amazed about the accomplishments and the resuscitation of the state owned insurance company welcoming the delegation heaped praises on the leadership and admonished them to continue to work for the progress of SSNIT and Ghana at large.

Members of the delegation included Hon. Abena Osei Asare, Dr. John Ofori-Tinkorang, Prince Ankrah, David Ofori Acheampong, Benjamin Assumang, Afia Amankwah Sarkodie, Rt. COP. Beatrice Vib-Sanziri, Alhassan A. Mahamadu Cynthia Afriyie Addo.
