KTC Sets New Date to Hear Dispute over Tipokrom and Pomakrom

A new date has been set aside to hear a dispute between Nana Prof. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei Woahene II, Otumfuo Hiahene and Osahene Nana Kwaku Aterkyi II, Paramount Chief of Kukuom Traditional Council.

The two are contending over Tipokrom and Pomakrom, laying claim to the communities.

When the case was called on Monday, February 24, 2025, before the Kumasi Traditional Council presided over by the Occupant of the Golden Stool, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the representative of Kukuom announced the ruler had taken ill.

He therefore requested a month for Kukuomhene to appear before the Council, a request which was granted.

Osahene was therefore directed to appear on March 24 by Otumfuo Kyeame Kantankrakyi, Baffour Osei Kwame, for the resolution of the dispute.

“Inform Kukuomhene about the dispute and let him know he is needed to make his case.”
