YEA Board Holds Strategy Workshop to Expand Youth Employment

The Board of the Youth Employment Agency has opened a high-level workshop aimed at developing strategies to surpass its record of recruiting over 86,000 young people in 2025.

The workshop, led by Board Chairman Lawyer Abubakari Mutiu, is focused on strengthening policy direction, improving operational efficiency, and expanding employment opportunities for young Ghanaians.

Mr Mutiu said the Agency must continue pushing boundaries to create sustainable jobs for the youth despite limited resources.

He urged management and stakeholders to remain innovative, committed, and results-oriented in advancing YEA’s mandate of job creation and youth empowerment across the country.

According to the Board, the workshop forms part of efforts to build on last year’s performance and ensure the Agency delivers more opportunities for young people in 2026.
