Asantehene Funds 600-bed Capacity Girls’ Dormitory For Sefwi Wiawso SHS
The Monarch of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, has funded the construction of a 600-bed Capacity Girls’ Dormitory for his alma mater, Sefwi Wiawso Senior High School (SHS) in the Western North Region.
The facility which has been handed over to the school has spacious dormitory rooms with washrooms on each floor, a washing and ironing area, a hall/common room and a storeroom.
It also houses an infirmary and a two-bedroom flat for the housemistress.
The three-storey building was officially handed over by Otumfuo Hiahene and Board Chairman of the Foundation, Nana Prof. Oheneba Boachie-Adjei Woahene II.
The project was executed by Attachy Construction Limited with Architectural and Engineering Services Limited (AESL) serving as the consulting firm.
This remarkable project underscores His Majesty’s enduring vision to expand access to quality education and provide a safe, inclusive, and conducive environment for academic excellence.
