NPP Race: Dr Adutwum Targets Poverty Battle As Campaign Message

The former Minister for Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, has taken a campaign message targeting the eradication of poverty from Ghana.
The Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe Constituency seeking to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the 2028 Presidential election of Ghana appeared before the party’s vetting committee on Tuesday.
Before the committee, he laid bare his plans to fight poverty and transform Ghana when offered the mandate.
Addressing the press after the vetting, he said, “I’ve shared my views with them on how we can transform Ghana from Axim to Zabzugu; help is on the way. We will fight the war against poverty, and we will win it to create a better nation.”
He intends to do this through education and innovation.
The lawmaker further appreciated the reception and atmosphere of the vetting.
“The process went very well. The vetting committee members were great. I felt very welcomed at the venue and had the opportunity to respond to various questions.”
