Registrar of Companies to Publish Q1 2026 Name Change List in Companies Bulletin

The Registrar of Companies will publish the names of companies that have duly registered an alteration of name in the Companies Bulletin, pursuant to Section 21(11) and (12) of the Companies Act, 2019 (Act 992).

In a public notice dated June 9, 2026, and issued from the Companies Registry, the Registrar stated seleted companies had completed the legal process to change their names.

According to the notice, the former names of the affected companies are hereby cancelled and replaced with the new names as indicated in the Bulletin.

The change of name has been effected in accordance with Act 992 and takes effect from the date of registration.

The Registrar clarified that the companies listed are those whose change of name was registered during the 1st Quarter of 2026, covering January to March.

Section 21 of Act 992 requires the Registrar to publish details of name alterations so that the public, creditors, and business partners are duly informed and can update their records accordingly.

The full list of companies and their new names will appear in the upcoming edition of the Companies Bulletin, which serves as the official gazette for corporate filings and notices in Ghana.
