SEC Flags 23 Unlicensed Investment Entities Operating Online in Ghana

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has warned the public against 23 entities operating on social media and other online platforms without a license to offer investment products in Ghana.

In a public notice dated July 22, 2026, the Commission said the entities are promoting and offering unlicensed investment products in the country.

The list includes Afri Hub, BG Wealth, BP Investment, Creative Walker Promotion Company, Dallmayr, Expert Option, GAIP Securities Learning & Exchange Group, Ghana Vest, Harvest Fund, Infarms/Secure Farm, Kukafor Platform, Mazzuma, Medisyne Trade, NIO Platform, Profit Rise Invest, Quant Vest Stock Exchange, QVES, QX Broker/Qumatix, Smart Gain, Yepbit Trading, ZEC ZEC FX, Bonchat and Ultima Cryptocurrency Group.

The SEC stated that it has not licensed any of the above-mentioned entities to carry out capital market activities as mandated by Section 3 of the Securities Industry Act, 2016 (Act 929) as amended.

The Commission said it is currently collaborating with law enforcement agencies to clamp down on the individuals behind these entities and schemes.

As part of its mandate to protect investors and ensure an efficient, fair and transparent securities market, the SEC said it regularly publishes information it deems relevant to the public.

The Commission is therefore urging the general public to be vigilant and to desist from investing in unlicensed products.

The public has also been advised to confirm the licensing status of any entity offering investment products or services by contacting the SEC through its toll-free line 0800100065, main line 0302768970-2, or by email at info@sec.gov.gh.
