Proud Western Regional FA Rallies Support For Medeama SC On League Final Day

The Western Regional Football Association has called on stakeholders to go out in their numbers this Sunday to support the Medeama Sporting Club when they host Tamale City.

The Club is seeking to make history as they lead and are a point away from winning the title.

The FA in a statement said it was proud of the performance of the Club.

“The region is proud of Medeama SC, Corporate organisations and everyone who believed in the dream and supported the course,” a part of the statement dated June 7 said.

The FA said it will be well represented at the Akoon Park to support the players with the Chairman, Executive Council members, Office staff and other committee members.

It, therefore, urged stakeholders to make it a point to patronise the game in support of the players for victory.

“The Western Regional Football Association (WRFA) writes to all stakeholders in the football fraternity to rally behind and massively support Medeama on Sunday to enable the dream of winning the 2022/2023 Ghana Premier League trophy to become a reality and success.”

The curtain on this season’s betPawa Premier League will be drawn on June 11 as the last round of matches of the 2022/2023 season will be supervised simultaneously across the various league centres.

At the Golden Park, Berekum Chelsea will take on Hearts of Oak with Asante Kotoko hosting Dreams FC and Bechem United visiting Aduana FC.

Leaders Medeama SC will lock horns with Tamale City and Real Tamale United will go up against King Faisal at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium

At the El Wak Stadium, Legon Cities and Samatex will face each other while at the Dun’s Park will be a match between Goldstars and Accra Lions.
