B/ER: Body of 4-year-old Boy Retrieved From Well

A male child has died after falling into a well at Jerusalem, a suburb of Techiman in the Bono East Region.

The incident was reported by the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) in a statement issued on June 17.

“The Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) in Techiman responded to a tragic drowning incident after a distress call reporting the drowning of a 4-year-old boy in a well at Jerusalem, a suburb of Techiman.”

Using ropes and lines, a team of seven firefighters retrieved the body of the four-year-old from the well.

He was, however, pronounced dead upon retrieval.
