Our Men’s 4×100 Relay Team Is a Source of Pride- GOC

The Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) has acknowledged the men’s 4×100 m Athletic Relay Team as a source of pride.
It comes after the team qualified for the World Athletics Championship following their success at the World Relays in Guangzhou, where they finished second in the second qualifying round with a time of 38.32 seconds.
In a statement, the Committee congratulated the team which comprises Joseph Paul Amoah, Sean Safo-Antwi, Fuseini Ibrahim, Bamabas Aggerh and Mustapha Alufu Bokpin.
It hailed their output as “remarkable”.
“Over the years, the performance of the men’s 4×100 relay team has been a source of pride to all Ghanaians. It is a testament to the sporting talents that abound in the country.
“We, at the Ghana Olympic Committee, recognise the hard work, discipline, and dedication of the current 4×100 relay team, and we encourage other Ghanaian athletes in other sports to learn from their example.”
It furthered, “We wish to extend our heartfelt congratulations also to Ghana Athletics, led by its President, Fusseini Bawah, who have been consistent in churning out top athletes for the country.”
The World Athletics Championship is scheduled for September 2025 in Tokyo.
