The President of the National House of Chiefs, Ogyeahohoo Yaw Gyebi, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to the Occupant of the Golden Stool, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
In his speech at the “Ahoho Da” at the Manhyia palace on April 24, 2024, he characterized His Majesty as an amazing Monarch.
“On behalf of my people and all the ethnic groups present, I say happy anniversary. May the Lord and our ancestors shower love, wisdom and warmth upon you on this silver anniversary. Happy anniversary to an amazing King whose achievements for the benefit of the Asante Kingdom and Ghana are highly appreciated.”
Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II is 25 years on the Golden Stool.
The King has carved a niche for himself and raised the bar in traditional leadership, a bar many will have to come hell or high water to equal.
The celebrated and internationally acclaimed Monarch is known for modernizing traditional leadership, upholding culture and being driven towards socio-economic development and improving the standard of living of his people.
April 26 marks exactly 25 years since he held onto the sword and swore oath of allegiance before Golden Stool to remain firm and truthful.
He has inarguably and satisfactorily delivered on his oath.
