Ongoing System Updates Disrupt Services at NIA District Offices

An ongoing system update by the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) team of the National Identification Authority has disrupted services across the district office.

The disruption is temporary, it said in a statement issued on April 23, 2026.

It affirmed that the updates are essential to enhance the security and efficiency of the Ghana Card registration system.

“The NIA regrets any inconvenience caused,” it said.

The Authority assured the public that the update process will be completed by May 10, 2026, to restore services across all district offices nationwide.
