Nkoranzahene Leads Delegation to Thank Otumfuo for Support at Outdooring Ceremony

The Paramount Chief of Nkoranza Traditional Area, Oheneba Kwame Baffoe Pim IV, has expressed gratitude to the King of the Asante Kingdom, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, following his overwhelming support towards an outdooring event for himself and his Queen.
Accompanied by Oheneyere Yaa Sarpomaa III, Nkoranzahemaa, on April 16, 2026, his delegation paid a courtesy visit to the Asantehene at the Manhyia Palace.
In his remarks, the traditional leader conveyed his profound appreciation to His Majesty for permitting their official outdooring to Nkoranzaman.
The visit was also used to formally thank Otumfuo for delegating Nana Dwamena Akenten II, Offinsohene, to represent him at the event, which took place on April 5, 2026.
They credited the King for the prevailing peace within their jurisdiction by bringing a longstanding chieftaincy conflict to an end.
“We enjoy peace in Nkoraza today and live in unity thanks to the intervention of Otumfuo. Our mission to the Palace today is all about Thanksgiving.”
Oheneba, in his speech, also assured Otumfuo of the Council’s dedication to serving Nkoranzaman with humility, upholding the customs of Asanteman, and promoting peace and development in their traditional area.
In accordance with Asante custom, the delegation presented drinks to the Palace as a symbol of appreciation and respect.
The outdooring of the traditional rulers was a significant rite that formally introduced the chief or queen mother to the community and reaffirmed allegiance to the Golden Stool.
