Ghana Air Traffic Safety Engineers Association Cancels Strike

The Ghana Air Traffic Safety Engineers Association (GhATSEA) has suspended their planned industrial action.
The strike action was slated for Thursday, October 30.
However, in a statement, it rescinded it, citing constructive engagement with the GCAA governing board and management.
“The Ghana Air Traffic Safety Engineers Association (GhATSEA) wishes to inform the general public that, following constructive engagement with the GCAA governing board and management, we have decided to suspend our planned strike action, which was scheduled to take effect from 30th October 2025.”
It appreciated the efforts of all stakeholders during the discussions, emphasising its optimism in the ongoing engagements for a lasting resolution of all outstanding issues.
It added, “GhATSEA assures the public, our partners, and all aviation stakeholders that we remain steadfast in our upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism in the provision of air navigation services across the country.”
