Nana Ampadu Was Not Just A Musician, He Wrote Stories For Movies Too – Son Reveals

Veteran Highlife musician, Nana Kwame Ampadu was not only a musician but also a movie writer.

His son, Kwabena Amoah Ampadu in an interview with Citi TV said his father wrote over 26 movie scripts and worked with the popular movie producer, Kwaku Boakye of Danfo BA Movie Productions.

“My father was not just a musician. He wrote a lot of stories. He wrote stories for about 26 movies…I can say that my father wrote about 80% of stories for the movies Danfo BA produced,” he said.

Adwomtofoohene as he was eulogised for his excellent songwriting skills was laid to rest on October 8th, 2022 which was graced by prominent people in the country as they paid their last respect to the legend.
