Moesha Down With Stroke
It has been confirmed that Ghanaian socialite, Moesha Boduong has suffered a “life-threatening” stroke and is in dire need of financial assistance for medical attention.
The news which began as rumours was confirmed by her brother, Ebito Bodoung in a statement on Wednesday, January 31.
According to him, the disease has affected her mobility and speech; however, she is undertaking some recovery steps medically, which has also proven daunting with the accompanying financial constraints.
He has thus launched a GoFundMe campaign to solicit public support.
“By contributing to this campaign, you will be directly supporting my sister’s rehabilitation journey. These funds will be used to cover medical expenses, therapy sessions, assistive devices, and any other resources needed to aid her recovery.”
In his plea to the public, he said, “My goal is to provide my sister with the best possible care and support during this challenging time. We want to help her regain her independence, rebuild her strength, and restore her abilities. Together, we can make a significant impact on her journey to recovery!”
Some celebrities have joined in the campaign to aid the recovery of Moesha.
Singer Efya took to her X account to urge fans to be kind to her.
“Every donation counts in this battle against adversity. Please join us in supporting Moesha and their family during this challenging time. Together, we can make a meaningful impact.”
