I discovered my musical dexterity from childhood – Kuneli

Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Deborah Mawunyo Kunneh popularly known as Kuneli has revealed that she started singing in childhood.

“Since childhood, I noticed that I could sing, so at the age of sixteenth, I wrote my first music so I realized that this is what want to do”.

Speaking in an interview with Mr. Black on Kumasefie last Saturday, November 13th, 2021, Kuneli stated that she had a passion is for music.

“There are a couple of people I look up to Whitney Elizabeth Houston and Céline”

“I had the talent and o could listen to their songs effortlessly so it wasn’t difficult looking up to them,” she said.

According to the vocalist, she did a rendition of other people’s song’s because it gives more recognition

“I just did it for fun but I did one for Simi and she reported it on her page” he added.
