GES Warns Teacher Recruitment Applicants Against Fraudsters

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced that recruitment into the service is free and cautioned applicants to disregard calls and messages from persons demanding money to secure teaching jobs.
In a statement issued on Monday, July 28, 2026, the Service said it had become aware of fraudsters impersonating GES Officers and soliciting payments from applicants.
“Applicants receiving calls and messages from persons claiming to be GES Officers to pay money to secure their recruitment should disregard such calls and messages, and report to the police,” the statement said.
GES also confirmed that regional postings for successful applicants are now available on the recruitment portal.
Successful applicants are to log in using their vouchers to access their posting details free of charge.
The Service directed all successful applicants to report to their respective Regional Education Offices from August 7, 2026, to commence the onboarding process.
“Management expresses appreciation to all applicants for their cooperation,” the statement concluded.
