Mahama to Deliver Keynote at Ghana–UK Investment Summit in June

President John Dramani Mahama is scheduled to attend and address the upcoming Ghana–UK Investment Summit 2026 in London.

His participation is aimed at reinforcing the government’s commitment to attracting foreign direct investment and strengthening Ghana’s partnership with the United Kingdom.

The event is set to take place in London from June 1 to 2, bringing together global leaders, investors, and policymakers to deepen economic ties between the two countries.

Held under the theme “Restoring Investor Confidence to Unlock Opportunities and Shared Prosperity,” the two-day summit will spotlight high-impact sectors and showcase Ghana’s investment potential to the international business community.

The Summit will focus on high-impact sectors critical to Ghana’s economic transformation, including energy, agribusiness, infrastructure, manufacturing, fintech, and green economy initiatives.

Sessions will feature policy dialogues, project presentations, and business-to-business matchmaking designed to connect Ghanaian enterprises with UK capital and expertise.

Organisers say the event will also explore frameworks for de-risking investments and promoting sustainable, mutually beneficial partnerships.

The Summit comes as Ghana intensifies efforts to attract investment, create jobs, and drive inclusive growth.

It seeks to engage diaspora investors, institutional funds, and development partners in shaping what organisers call “Ghana’s next chapter.”

Stakeholders across public and private sectors are encouraged to participate and explore bankable projects, policy reforms, and partnership models.
