Mahama Talks About His Stands For The Next Flagbearer For NDC
Former President of the Republic of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama has stated whether or not he will contest for the Flagbearership for the National Democratic Congress.
The NDC seeks to win the 2024 elections from the New Patriotic Party whole are also in the quest to break the eight.
John Mahama whom everyone sees as a top contender as the flagbearer for the NDC ahead of the 2024 polls has stated in an interview in VOA’s Straight Talk Africa that he has not decided whether or not he will contest.
He lamented his decision on the matter will be made early next year during the party primaries.
He however added that whoever is being elected as flagbearer is what the party wants and they aim to win the 2024 election.
Again John Mahama said in the interview that it is a good strategy to keep your opponent guessing who they will contest in the upcoming election.
One of the top contenders to fight for the NDC flagbearer seat against John Mahama is former Finance Minister Dr Kwabena Duffour.
