Let’s Resource NDC Ashanti Region, says Parliamentary Candidate

Ibrahim Asante Boadu, the parliamentary candidate for the Bosomtwe Constituency of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Ashanti Region, has called on the National Executives of the party to resource the party in the region to make it their stronghold.

“Ashanti Region is not a stronghold for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and will never be if NDC can take advantage of this fact by providing its members in the region with the necessary logistics to campaign vigorously,” he said.

“I am optimistic that with the right resources and a campaign, the NDC can make significant gains in Ashanti Region in the next general election.”

Mr. Boadu made this call on May 10, at the NDC office at Kuntanasi in the Bosomtwe Constituency in the Ashanti Region where he donated a motorcycle to the young Cadres and about 500 plastic chairs, printers, laptops, and other office equipment to the party.

The donation was received by the constituency chairman, Mr. Dickson Yaw Manu, and some other executives who expressed their gratitude for the kind gesture.

“We are very grateful for this gesture. This is a significant step towards achieving our goal as a party. We will take good care of the items,” Mr Manu said.
