Kumawu MP Disgusted as Two Male Teachers Brawl Over a Woman in School

The Member of Parliament for Kumawu Constituency, Ernest Yaw Anim has registered his disgust over a brawl between two male teachers of a female colleague.
The incident happened at an undisclosed school located at Pepease.
In a press statement, he described the actions of the teachers as highly unacceptable, unprofessional, and a disgrace to the teaching profession.
“That two teachers allowed a personal disagreement to degenerate into violence on school premises is deeply disappointing and reflects a gross lack of self-control.”
He reckons that the incident not only dents the reputation of the school and the wider educational community but also undermines the authority and respect that teachers are meant to embody.
He argues that educators ought to model responsible behaviour that guides and inspires students.
He, therefore, urged the Ghana Education Service (GES) to launch an immediate investigation into the matter and apply appropriate sanctions where necessary.
“Acts of indiscipline within our schools must be addressed decisively to preserve the sanctity and integrity of our learning environments.”
He also suggested that the school’s administration offer psychological support and counselling to students who may have been traumatized by the incident, ensuring that their emotional and mental well-being is not neglected.
