Kotoko-Maxwell Konadu Legal Tussle: Kotoko National Circles Council Steps In To Rescue The Situation Today

National Circles Council, the official supporters mother of Asante Kotoko SC, has called for an immediate meeting with Coach Maxwell Konadu over a legal tussle with the club today.

The former player and coach has dragged the Ghanaian giants to the Ghana Football Association’s Players status committee to demand for his remuneration in his one-year left contract.

The former Black Stars deputy was sacked last year in December following unappealing performance in the early stages of the Ghana Premier League.

But two months after his unfortunate sack, the coach is yet to receive part or full payment of his demands from the two-time CAF Champions League winners.

Kotoko responding to Maxwell Konadu’s request says, the coach keeping the car since he was sacked cost the club $300 per day, and he should pay $22,800 for keeping the Fortuner vehicle with registration number GT-8186-19 that was bought for him or face legal action.

The tussle has made the Supporters body to call on Maxwell Konadu for a roundtable discussion to resolve the issue amicably for peace to prevail.

Asante Kotoko in recent times have been surrounded with litigation due to wrongful termination of contracts with former players.
