Kotoka VVIP Lounge Shut

The VVIP Lounge of the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) will be temporarily closed to the public.

The closure will remain in force for two weeks.

This was communicated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration in a press release dated January 30, 2023.

The closure takes effect on Tuesday, January 31, 2023.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of the Republic of Ghana wishes to inform the travelling public, who patronize the VVIP Lounge at the Kotoka International Airport that it will be temporarily closed for two weeks effective Tuesday, January 31, 2023.”

According to the Ministry, the closure is meant to pave the way for the restructuring of the Lounge to meet international standards.

As alternatives, passengers are to use the Commercial Important Person (CIP) Lounge and Business Lounge at Terminal 3.
