JJC Skillz Announces Separation From Actress Funke
Nigerian Rapper and songwriter, Abdulrasheed Bello known as JJC Skillz has announced separation from his wife, Actress Funke Akindele.
According to the rapper, their separation is due to their beyond-repair broken relationship.
He said the marital challenges began two years ago and accused Funke of avoiding efforts to settle them.
On June 30, 2022, JJC Skillz took to his Instagram page with the message, “Dear friends and family I need to let you know that Funke and I have separated…The last two years have been extremely difficult. The last two years have been extremely difficult for us. I know I have tried my best fix things but I believe it is beyond repair now”.
He added, “3 months ago and at Funkes insistence I moved out of the house and apart from AMVCA have not been able to get Funke to sit down in an amicable matter to discuss the future of our relationship”.
But their separation doesn’t end it all. JJC Skillz realises that he will have to settle issues on the custody and wellbeing of their children, as well as their joint business with Funke.
“We still have issues that need to be addressed such as custody and wellbeing of our children which is paramount as well as business interest which need to be disentangled but I have no doubt that these will be resolved one way or the other.”
The couple stayed together for almost six years and had two children.
This comes days after Nigerian actress, Chacha Eke Faani brought her nine year-year old marriage to Austin Faani, a Nollywood director, actor, editor, producer, and entrepreneur to an end.
