NIA Opens First 24-Hour Prestige Centre for Ghana Card Services

The National Identification Authority (NHIA) has launched its first 24-Hour Prestige Centre, offering Ghanaians round-the-clock access to Ghana Card registration and related services.
According to a public notice issued by the NIA’s Corporate Affairs Directorate, the new facility is designed to provide “fast, convenient, and flexible” premium services to the public at any time, day or night.
The Prestige Centre, located in Labone, Accra, is scheduled to open on Saturday, 1st August 2026.
The Authority said the centre, located in Accra, will operate on a 24/7 basis and will attract approved service fees for the premium services it offers.
The move is part of NIA’s efforts to expand access to identification services and reduce congestion at existing registration centres by giving citizens the option to visit outside regular working hours.
