Interdicted Fijai SHS Headmaster Reinstated

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has reinstated the headmaster of Fijai Senior High School (SHS), Mr Kenneth Agbomadze.

A statement from the GES on Wednesday made the announcement.

He was accused of taking an “illegal fee” in April leading to his suspension on April 18, however, some members of the Parent-Teacher Association rose to his defence.

His reinstatement can only prove that he is innocent although the statement from the GES did not say so.

This comes after the management of the Service reviewed the report of the investigation into the allegation.

“Management wishes to announce that it has reviewed the reports of the investigative Committee for Fijai Senior High School… and duly noted the findings and recommendations.

“Accordingly, Mr Kenneth Agbomadze… has been reinstated forthwith.”

Meanwhile, the Regional Director of Education would work with the management of the school to ensure that the recommendations of the committee are implemented.

It is not yet known to the media the findings of the Committee.
