DVLA Boss Honours OSP Invitation

The Chief Executive Officer of the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority (DVLA), Julius Neequaye Kotey, has honoured the invitation of the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP).
He visited the headquarters at 11 am on October 31, in accordance with the directive of the Office.
The invitation is grounded in claims that he had rejected a GH¢4 million bribe allegedly offered to stop the rollout of the new Digitalised Vehicle Registration Plate (DP) policy.
The OSP, by the meeting, sought further information from the DVLA boss to verify the allegation and identify those purportedly involved in the bribery attempt.
After the meeting with the officials, he was captured exiting the premises.
He was met by a cheering group of supporters at the entrance.
