I don’t Stress Doing Music – Kwasi Phylla

Kwasi Phylla, a rising star in the music scene has boldly declared that, he has tried so many stuff and but music is the only endeavour that doesn’t cause him stress. It has now become his career.

Narrating his story on Kumasefie with Mr Black on May 27, he said he embarked on a journey from Kumasi to Accra, where he had the opportunity to meet influential people who provided guidance and support along his musical path.

“I was part of a team, dedicating myself to mastering the art of hard-core rapping and gaining a deep understanding of the industry.”

Though he was part of a team, In 2018, he eventually decided to pursue a solo career due to differences in ambition and drive. While he appreciates the support and development he gained from the group, he felt the need to venture on his own and explore his individual musical journey.

“We had the same passion but our hunger for success varied. They didn’t push me as much. It wasn’t a negative experience, and I have no regrets because the team played a crucial role in my development. I am now a solo artiste.”

As a talented lyricist, Kwasi Phylla writes and raps his own songs. So far, he has released four captivating tracks that have captured the attention of listeners.

With his unwavering passion for music and the talent he possesses, Kwasi Phylla, the rising star, is set to leave an indelible mark on the music scene and deliver a fresh perspective through his engaging and thought-provoking songs.

True to his name, Phylla, derived from “news” (filla), he aims to embrace an innovative approach in delivering the latest updates and stories through his music.
