Diana Hamilton To Perform At Otumfuo Anniversary

The 2021 Vodafone Ghana Artiste of the Year, Diana Hamilton will feature on the list of artistes to perform at one of the events slated to mark the Asantehene’s 25th enstoolment Anniversary celebration.

She offered to perform when she visited the Manhyia Palace on Wednesday, February 21, 2024.

Speaking on her behalf, Head of the Heal Komfo Anokye (Heal KATH) Project, Sammy Adu Boakye, said, “She avails herself for any programme you might need her services in the course of your 25th Anniversary.”

Welcoming the news, Otumfuo outlined some events slated for the anniversary and directed her to liaise with his office to find a suitable time.

It will be recalled that the gospel artiste was among the key personalities who were invited to perform at Asantehemaa Nana Konadu Yiadom III’s 5th Anniversary in 2022.

Diana was at the Palace to seek the blessings of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II as she hosts the second session of her Awake Experience concert at Bantama in Kumasi on February 25.

Accompanying her to Palace were her husband, Dr Joseph Hamilton, and representatives of her lead sponsors including Mr Daniel Eduam, the Kumasi Branch Manager for Enterprise Life Insurance, Mark Mensah Abban, the Middle Belt Sales and Distribution Manager for Awake Natural Mineral Water and Tony Afoakwa, the Managing Director for Property Electronics.
