Hammer Resigns From A1 Bread To Focus On Music

Celebrated multiple award-winning record producer, Edward Nana Poku Osei known as Da’Hammer, has resigned from his position as the Managing Partner and Head of Sales and Marketing at A1 Bread.

He announced this in a Facebook post on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.

The move is to buy the Chief Executive Officer of the record label, Last Two Music Group more time to complete a new album featuring new school artistes and some veteran artistes he has been compiling for years.

According to him, production commenced around August 2022 with a targeted release date of April 2023, however, progress has been unsteady due to his position in the bakery company and other businesses he is running.

“The album is mostly dominated by the new school artistes and blessed by some veteran artistes as well. Production commenced around August 2022 and targeted a scheduled release date of April 2023.”

“The problem is, this album’s completion has become protracted due to my trying to balance the demands of my creative process and my day job as Managing Partner and Head of Sales/Marketing at A1 Bread, all whilst simultaneously trying to manage RedEye’s comeback album as well.”

With his resignation, he anticipates that his next album titled “Upper Echelon”, will hit the market in early 2024.

On January 12, 2023, Hammer announced his comeback which he called the “second coming” into the music industry after a long break.

He is known for his role in the development of artistes including Obrafour, Tinny, Kwaw Kese, Sarkodie, and Ayigbe Edem.
