GES Releases 2026/2027 Academic Calendar for SHS and SHTS

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has finalised and released the academic calendar for Senior High Schools and Senior High Technical Schools for the 2026/2027 academic year.

In a notice, GES Management said the calendar covers both Single Track Schools and Transitional Schools.

The GES called on school heads, teachers, parents/guardians, students and the general public to study the calendar closely.

The Service said early preparation will help ensure a smooth start to the academic year and effective teaching and learning.

“Management of GES urges all stakeholders, especially school heads, teachers, parents, and students, to take note of these dates and prepare accordingly,” the statement read.
