GDCL and YEA Partner to Train 2,000 Youth in Jobs Programme

Ghana Digital Centres Limited (GDCL) and the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) have announced an official partnership to deliver the Microsoft Skills for Jobs Microdegree Programme to 2,000 Ghanaian youth.
The collaboration, unveiled in a joint flyer, aims to equip young Ghanaians with high-demand digital skills in cloud computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, Power Platform, and data.
According to GDCL and YEA, the initiative is designed to bridge the digital skills gap and create direct pathways into employment for Ghana’s youth.
Graduates of the programme will receive a joint certification from Microsoft and KAMK University in Finland. They will also earn transferable EU credits, making the qualification internationally recognised.
The partnership further promises real pathways into paid internships and global job opportunities for successful participants.
Applications and rollout details for the 2,000 available slots are expected to be announced by GDCL and YEA in the coming weeks.
