Cancel KelniGVG Contract and Prosecute Initiators- IMANI Boss

The founder and President of IMANI Africa, Franklin Cudjoe, has called for the immediate termination of National Communication Authority (NCA) contract with KelniGVG, a private company behind Ghana’s telecom traffic monitoring system.
In a statement, he urged the Minister for Communications, Digitalisation and Innovations, Sam George and the Attorney-General, Dominic Ayine, to prosecute the former government officials who initiated the deal.
“Respectfully, my brother, Hon. Sam George and Hon. Attorney-General Dominic Ayine, please cancel the KelniGVG contract now and PURSUE ALL INVOLVED FOR OUR MONEY.”
He criticised the sector Minister’s decision to wait till the “crooked scam” contract expired in 2028.
“Ghana was committed by Ursula Owusu to paying US$ $1.5m every month to a company she claims would catch revenue theft by telcos. We have never seen a single credible report since the company began cashing out freely in 2018.”
“Sadly, they are still cashing out, possibly until 2028, and no credible reports have been seen. Instead of cancelling the crooked scam contract, the current minister suggested that the contract would not be renewed.”
