President Mahama Arrives In Egypt For Grand Egyptian Museum Opening

President John Dramani Mahama has journeyed to Cairo, Egypt, where he will be attending the grand opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum.
The event will be held on November 1, 2025, according to a communique issued by the Jubilee House.
He will be part of the event as a guest of the Egyptian President.
The Museum is an archaeological and national museum in Giza, the largest museum in the world for a single civilization.
It is located about two kilometers (1.2 miles) from the Giza Pyramid Complex.
The museum was announced in 1992, actual construction began in 2005, and it was fully completed in 2023 at a cost of $1 billion.
The President’s visit to Egypt comes after he wrapped up a two-day visit to France in Europe.
In Paris, he participated in the 8th Edition of the Paris Peace Forum, on October 29 and 30.
Mahama is expected to return to Ghana on Sunday, November 2, 2025.
