A/R: New Contractor Resumes Work on Sataso Bridge in Mampong- Amoakohene

The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene, has announced that Nathawo Constructions has been engaged to take over the Sataso Bridge project at the Mampong Constituency.

This follows challenges and difficulties with the earlier contractor.

According to him, work has since resumed on the project.

To ease transportation challenges for commuters and residents, a diversion has been created to facilitate vehicular movement in the area.

Dr Amoakohene expressed appreciation to the Minister for Roads and Highways for what he called swift intervention and continued support toward improving road infrastructure in the region.

He noted that with the Minister’s backing, other critical bridges, including the Kotokuom Bridge and Jacobu Bridge, were completed promptly last year.

“I am confident that through the same commitment and hard work, the Sataso Bridge will also be successfully completed for the benefit of the people,” he said.

The Regional Minister added that authorities remain committed to improving infrastructure and ensuring safe movement across communities in the Ashanti Region.
