22 Tertiary Institutions Whose Students Are Not Eligible for National Service

The National Service Authority (NSA) says it has withheld the PIN Codes of final-year students from 22 tertiary institutions across the country.
According to the Authority, the PIN Codes have not been processed as those institutions are currently not accredited and remain unknown to the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).
These schools include Accra Ghana, Cambridge International College, Carest College of Health, Global Professional Studies, Crystal Galaxy College, Nalerigu Nursing and Midwifery Training College and Multimedia Institute of Ghana.
The decision will affect 3,597 final-year students, the NSA said in a statement issued on June 17, 2025.
“Their graduates will not be mobilized unless the NSA receives verifiable evidence confirming their regularized accreditation status.”
It further urged 22 other institutions with expired accreditation to engage with GTEC and regularise their status within the next 30 days.
“This will ensure a hitch-free deployment process for their graduates’ post-registration. All institutional accreditation data referenced in this release has been validated by GTEC and is attached to this release.”
