See List of 100 Accredited Universities Whose Students Will Be Undertaking National Service

The National Service Authority (NSA) has published a list of 100 universities whose students have been admitted for the 2025/2026 service year.
It said a total of 135,990 final-year Ghanaian students were submitted by 122 tertiary institutions across the country.
However, 3,597 of these submissions, representing graduates from 22 institutions, have not been processed, as those institutions are currently not accredited and remain unknown to the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).
“Their graduates will not be mobilized unless the NSA receives verifiable evidence confirming their regularized accreditation status.”
It further urged these institutions with expired accreditation to engage with GTEC and regularise their status within the next 30 days.
“This will ensure a hitch-free deployment process for their graduates’ post-registration. All institutional accreditation data referenced in this release has been validated by GTEC and is attached to this release.”
The PIN Codes of the students from the accredited institutions have since been released, announced on Tuesday.
“The National Service Authority (NSA) has officially released PIN codes for 132,393 prospective National Service Personnel from 100 accredited educational institutions nationwide, for the 2025/2026 service year.”
In addition to the 125 PIN codes issued to graduates submitted by accredited institutions, the NSA said a further 908 PIN codes for private applicants are currently awaiting final verification from the related institutions to be released.
This includes Ghanaian students who studied abroad and individuals who previously deferred or defaulted and are now ready to undertake their mandatory national service.
“Prospects in this category should reach out via our support lines if their PIN codes are still inaccessible by 24 June 2025.”
