Two Arrested Over Disappearance of Couple
Police have arrested two people in connection with the disappearance of Dr Jesse Amuah and his wife, Mrs Elizabeth Esi Amuah.
The arrests followed a formal complaint that the couple had not been seen since March 2026, with their residence in Accra locked, and all attempts to reach them proving unsuccessful.
A joint team from the Missing Persons Unit, Anti-Armed Robbery Unit, and the Crime Scene Management Team immediately took up the case.
The team visited the couple’s residence and followed several leads, resulting in the arrest of the two suspects.
“The suspects are assisting with the ongoing investigation as intensive efforts continue to locate the missing couple,” police said.
The police have urged anyone with credible information on the couple’s whereabouts to report to the nearest police station for immediate action.
