United Nigeria Airlines Says VDM and Mr. Jollof Were Deboarded after Brawl on Plane
United Nigeria Airlines (UNA) has confirmed a viral brawl between social media sensation Martins Vincent Otse known as VeryDarkman (VDM) and comedian Freedom Okpetoritse Atsepoyi known as Mr. Jollof on its flight on Monday.
The altercation occurred during the boarding of Flight UN0523 at Asaba International Airport in the morning, adding that both passengers were deboarded and handed over to security for further investigation.
“In full compliance with global aviation safety protocols, our crew responded immediately and professionally to de-escalate the situation.”
The Airlines emphasised its priority on safety and maintains a zero-tolerance policy for any conduct that threatens the security or well-being of passengers or crew.
“After all standard procedures were completed, the flight departed safely while the passengers involved in the altercation were still with the authorities. We remain firmly committed to providing a safe, respectful, and secure travel experience across our network.”
