See Eswatini King’s Itinerary For Ghana Visit

The iNgwenyama of Eswatini, His Majesty Mswati III, is expected to be in Ghana on a four-day working tour from Tuesday, June 24 to Saturday, June 28, 2025.
His Majesty upon his arrival, will be welcomed at the Presidency where bilateral discussions with President Mahama and a high-level Ghanaian delegation will take place.
At this meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two countries is anticipated.
In the afternoon, the last absolute African monarch will meet with officials at the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat in Accra before departing for Kumasi the same day.
In Kumasi where King Mswati III will be hosted by Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene, for four days, he will visit the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) and take a tour of the historic Manhyia Palace Museum.
King Mswati III is also scheduled to address the National House of Chiefs and attend a grand durbar of chiefs organised in his honour at Manhyia Palace.
A royal banquet will be held in Kumasi on Friday evening in his honour.
His Majesty’s visit will climax with a ceremony at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
King Mswati III’s visit is anticipated to further strengthen diplomatic and economic ties between Ghana and the Kingdom of Eswatini as well as deepen the historical and cultural links between the Asante Kingdom and the southern African nation.
