Sam George: LGBTQI+ Bill To Be Laid Before Parliament By March Ending

The member of Parliament for Ningo Pram-pram constituency who also is one of the sponsors of LGBTQI+ bill, Samuel Nartey George (Sam George) has said, the Bill will be laid before Parliament before the end of March this year.

He explained that, he was able to meet the Attorney General yesterday and upon all the issues raised by the the Attorney general, Mr Godfred Dame, it was agreed that the Bill is in the best form and would help address the intended purpose.

The MP further said, the sponsors of the Bill have also engaged the Constitutional, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Committee on the Bill and can confirm that, much progress has been made on the Bill to be laid, for members of Parliament to contribute on it, for approval or otherwise of the LGBTQI+ Bill.
