{Pictures} Asantehene’s Debonair Look on His Birthday

Otumfuo Osei Tutu II put on a debonair appearance as he celebrated yet another year of life.
For the fact that the day coincided with Dapaa- an auspicious day on the Asante calendar reserved for preparation for Adae- the Manhyia Palace calendar was clear, with no events planned to commemorate the globally acclaimed traditional leader.
However, the Asantehene was feted with a befitting treat to reflect his prominence.
It was the Queen of the Kingdom, Nana Konadu Yiadom III, who led the celebration to wish his younger brother, who traditionally is her son.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Asantehemaa paid a rare visit to the King at his residence, accompanied by traditional authorities, royals and her courtiers.
Otumfuo stepped out elegantly in a crisp white kaftan, matching a pair of black shoes to meet the Queen.
The Asantehene’s charming presence lit up the occasion.
The Asanteman leaders sat and enjoyed each other’s company, exchanging pleasantries and light-hearted conversations before a birthday cake was brought in by Lady Julia, the wife of the King, to complement the significant occasion.
The brief event was a discreetly elegant affair, reflecting dignity and exuberance.
