ORAL Denies Spying on Afenyo-Markin

The Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) team has debunked allegations that it deploys drones to spy on the properties of the Minority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin.
In an interview, Lawyer Martin Kpebu- a member of the ORAL team- said the allegations are false.
“It is false. The ORAL committee has not sent any drones to spy on the Minority Leader’s properties—it is not true at all,” he said in an interview with CNR.
Describing the claims as ridiculous, he urged the public to disregard it.
“Looking at the members of the team, you can hazard that the committee will not do something ridiculous like that, so let’s disregard it. We do not own any drones as a committee at all.”
Additionally, he said there were no other members aside from their team undertaking that mandate.
“We do not have any members aside from the committee members working for us. Since it is a democracy, claims like that are made for strategic reasons.”
His comments are on the back of claims by the Effutu MP that the ORAL team had deployed drones to spy on his properties.
