New Municipal Chief Executive for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Nominated by President Akufo-Addo

President Akufo-Addo has nominated Paul Andoh as new Chief Executive for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipal Assembly in the Western North Region, Ghana.  Mr Andoh is set to replace the late Alfred Amoah who died in a motor accident in July 2020.

Alfred Amoah was returning to Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipality after attending an official meeting of all metropolitan, municipal, and district chief executives at the Jubilee House before he died in a motor accident.

Western North Minister received the notice of nomination for Paul Andoh from the Minister of Local Government, Decentralisation and Rural Development, Dan Botwe.

President Akufo-Addo nominated Andoh according to Article 243(1) of the 1992 Constitution and Section 20(1) of the Local Governance Act, 2016 (Act 936).

The Western North Region Minister, Joojo Rocky Obeng wrote to the Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai Municipal Assembly notifying them of the nomination and stating that a special meeting would soon be held to confirm the nominee.
