NACOC Reaches Out to 50 Persons with Drug Use Disorders in Kumasi

The Counselling, Referral and Social Reintegration Unit of the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC), Ashanti Region, has engaged 50 persons living with drug use disorders in vulnerable conditions as part of its flagship programme, Wheels of Change.
The outreach took place at Amakom in Kumasi.
According to NACOC, the aim of the programme was to spread love and provide compassionate support to individuals struggling with substance use.
The initiative is also intended to encourage beneficiaries to access counselling and other support services available through the Commission.
Fifty persons in active substance use benefited from the engagement.
The team also provided refreshments, including rice, drinks, and water, to everyone present during the outreach.
