My Presence Here Is To Demonstrate How Serious Hungary Is To Cooperate With Ghana– Hungarian President

The President of Hungary, His Excellency Janos Ader has assured that his government is ready to assist further plans of Ghana.

In his speech he said, the Hungarian government has technologies that can promote the production of clean water in the country.

“I believe there is the knowledge, there is the technology in our possession that could be of assistance to you in resolving your problems here. We’re ready to assist in constructing further plans.”

He insisted on the need for pure and fresh water and the reason they are embarking on several water plants projects in Ghana.

The President also identified that apart from technological assistance, human resource assistance is also essential for the nation’s promotion and that is why Hungary ceases not to admit over 100 Ghanaian students who are taken through several training and skills development programmes in their country.

“You’re not only in need of technology, Your Majesty; you need people, graduates who have the knowledge of actually operating and using these technologies.

“We have 170 Ghanaian students on scholarship in Hungary, our doors are opened to further students if they desire to become doctors, we have medical universities, so far all those people who were trained in Hungary have returned to Ghana and have made very good use. He added”

He said this in his speech during his visit to the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace last Saturday, January 15, 2022.

He informed Otumfuo that his presence at the Palace was to demonstrate how serious Hungary is about cooperating with Ghana in matters relating to development that will benefit the two countries since Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has declared that he is no longer interested in MOUs, but rather deeds and actions in partnerships.

“Quite recently, there was another Hungarian delegation that visited Ghana and received in your court. From that meeting you said to the deputy speaker of the Hungarian assembly you are no longer interested in any of the MOUs signed between the two parties, you are interested in deeds, action, that’s why I’m here.”
