The General Manager of Opemsuo Radio, a subsidiary of Ashanti Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), Mr Melchizedek O. Boachie, has assured the cherished audience of quality and credible content.
The media entity, which has been the official mouthpiece of the Manhyia Palace, is celebrating five years since it hit the airwaves and online.
“We stand to be the mouthpiece of Asanteman, and that has been our core mandate as a radio station. Looking back at the past five years, we have come far, though we are not yet there.”
To further this mission, he said, there are plans to forge international and local alliances if necessary.
“We have carved a niche for ourselves in the delivery of authentic content, and we are not backing out. We intend to position ourselves to partner with other local and international media to achieve the purpose we all seek.”
With quality content, professionalism and a reliable feed as the hallmark, Mr Boachie says the organisation will be spreading its tentacles to reach a wider range of audience in the years ahead.
“We aim to diversify our media presence, exploring opportunities on prominent platforms like television, to provide top-notch content and serve the information needs in Ghana and beyond.”
