Mbappé Discharged from Hospital

French forward Kylian Mbappé has been discharged after spending a day in a hospital, Real Madrid has announced.

The player returned to the training camp on Thursday afternoon after being hospitalized with an acute case of gastroenteritis.

He was tested for different tests for suitable medication.

Madrid said he will continue with the specific medical treatment and will gradually return to the team’s activity.

The player missed out on Madrid’s Club World Cup game against Al Hilal in Xabi Alonso’s first game at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

The Saudi Pro League side held the La Liga side in a 1-1 stalemate.

Madrid’s next club World Cup game is set for June 22 against Pachuca before meeting Salzburg on June 27.

Mbappé might miss the next game.
